Porsche offered an RS version of the 997 GT3. In common with its predecessors, it provided a homologation model for use in a range of racing series. The 997 GT3 RS is 20 kg lighter than the 997 GT3, weighing in at 1,590 kg. This weight-saving was achieved by the use of an adjustable carbon plastic wing, a steel engine cover, and a lightweight plastic windscreen. The weight savings gives the 997 GT3 RS corresponding engine power to curb weight ratio of 300 bhp (220 kW) per tonne.
These cars have become a hot item for the purist Porsche driver and in high demand by avid collectors. We at Bigfoot Car Detailing Centre had the priviledge of doing an enhancement detail on this beauty. Vehicle was washed and paintwork decontaminated prior to the single stage machine polish process using The Rupes Bigfoot Polishing system.
The complete front was thereafter protected with Xpel Ultimate Paint Protection Film with its unique self healing properties. The remainder of the vehicle was treated with Polish Angel Master Sealant. This sealant is an easy-to-use premium paint sealant that creates an extremely high gloss combined with a super slick surface. Its unique blend of Carnauba and crystal-clear ceramic sealant will protect your paintwork with unrivaled gloss.
